CERNOBBIO, Italy — In a move related to heightened concerns surrounding the coronavirus, Proposte 2020, held at Villa Erba in Cernobbio, has rescheduled from its original April dates to Sept. 23-25.
“The situation has evolved on a day-by-day basis, both internally and internationally,” said Piercarlo Viganò, president of Proposte management. “The strong reduction in air traffic and the cancellations of flights to Italy ordered by some governments and airlines has led us to a forced choice. It is a decision we have taken for reasons of force majeure, but it is certainly the best solution for the 2020 edition of Proposte in this difficult year.”
He noted that the choice was made by the board of Proposte to give continuity to the international event and to allow exhibitors to present their collections.
