Chip Vanderford
DONGGUAN, China – Industry veteran Chip Vanderford has joined Premier Furniture’s North America division as vice president of sales.
He comes to the company from Kuka Home, where he was vice president, sales. Before that he was with Fairmont Designs for nearly 15 years, most recently as vice president, sales. He was also owner of his own company, Vandercorp Inc., for nearly 10 years and was previously a retail store manager at Wickes Furniture in Dallas.
In this new role, VAnderford will be responsible for all day-to-day sales organization activity of the North America division. In addition he will manage the sales force, with all sales representatives reporting to him. He also will be responsible for marketing activities related to the North American market.
He reports to Brian Parker, president of Premier Furniture North America. The company, which recently re-entered the North American market, is based in Dongguan and is a factory-direct manufacturer.
Premier Furniture will show in space PS 206 in Plaza Suites at the April High Point Market.
