WASHINGTON – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of more than 165,000 inclined sleepers by four companies responding to infant suffocation deaths associated with other units.
The four companies are Graco, which is recalling 111,000 units; Summer Infant, which is recalling 46,300 units; Delta Enterprise, which is recalling 5,900 units and Evenflo, which is recalling 3,100 units. None of the companies reported incidents or injuries associated with these products. However, they are recalling the units in response to infant suffocation deaths associated with other similar recalled units by Fisher-Price and Kids II.
- Graco is recalling its Little Lounger Rocking Seats sold at Target, Babies R Us, and other stores nationwide and online at various websites from 2013-2018 for about $80.
- Summer Infant is recalling its SwaddleMe By Your Bed Sleeper, which was sold at juvenile product stores and mass merchandisers nationwide, including Amazon.com and Buy Buy Baby from March 2017 through December 2019 for about $99.
- Delta is recalling its Incline Sleeper with Adjustable Feeding Position which was sold at juvenile product stores and mass merchandisers nationwide and online including Amazon.com, Kmart and ToysRUs.com from January 2017 through December 2018 for between $41 and $51.
- Evenflo recalled its Pillo Portable Napper sold at juvenile product stores and mass merchandisers nationwide and online, including Target, Kohl’s, Amazon.com, Buy Buy Baby, JC Penney and Wal-Mart from May 2017 through January 2020 for about $75.
In each case, the CPSC is urging consumers to stop using these products immediately and contact the companies for a refund or cash voucher. For more details about how to contact the companies and the specific item numbers affected, click here.
