IRVINE, Calif. – In response to the ever evolving COVID-19 situation, the management of case goods and upholstery resource Peninsula Home Collection said it has taken measures to ensure the safety of its team, while taking a business as usual approach to servicing its customers.
In a March 20 email from company President and CEO Gonzalo Alonso, the company said that it is “determined to navigate the rapidly evolving coronavirus issue together to minimize its impact. In order to prevent the spread of the virus and limit the exposure to it, we have put restrictions on travel and have protocols in place in our office and distribution centers to keep them clean and sanitized apart from other recommendations from the government and health authorities.”
Alonso noted that sales and design teams are working either from its headquarters or remotely, “ensuring seamless service to our customers.”
He added that the company’s sales team is able to interact with customers via audio/video and that its warehouse is fully operational and continues to ship during this period of uncertainty.
“We would like to assure you that our dedicated sales, supply chain and production teams will putt in all efforts to provide uninterrupted supply and service to our customers,” Alonso said. “Meanwhile we have cancelled our sales events in the near future at our headquarter offices/warehouse.”
He added that the company will keep customers abreast of any changes or developments as they occur.
