GREENSBORO, N.C. – The management at South Sea Outdoor Living and Oasis Home said the company continues to accept and fulfill orders from its North Carolina and California warehouses, offering a steady flow of product during the COVID-19 health crisis.
However, in doing so, the company said it is also taking precautions in order to maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment.
For example, it is limiting visitors to its offices only to essential staff and is requiring all individuals to sanitize and/or wash hands upon arrival. It also is following CDC recommendations of no more than 10 people congregated in a place at one time, by staggering employee hours during the work day.
In addition, the company said that any persons showing symptoms of sickness are asked to leave and not return until they seek medical attention and get a doctor’s permission to return. It has also taken steps to clean and sanitize commonly touched surfaces on an hourly basis and has restricted entrance and exit points of the office and factory to reduce exposure and make it easier to clean work surfaces.
Finally, it has re-arranged its corporate office and factory in a way that maintains a four to 6-foot distance between individuals.
“We understand this is a difficult time and are here to assist you however we can,” the company said in a statement. “Working together, supporting each other we will overcome the coronavirus pandemic.”
