KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Organizers of the Export Furniture Exhibition in Malaysia have rescheduled their next show for Aug. 27-29.
The event originally was planned March 9-12 in Kuala Lumpur. However, organizers said that the decision to reschedule was reached at a recent EFE town hall meeting, where exhibitors voted to postpone the event. In the announcement, there was not mention of the corona virus affecting China and other parts of the world.
“The organizer wishes to thank all exhibitors for their support and wish everyone a successful and rewarding EFE 2020.”
The move follows plans by at least three other shows to postpone their event to a later date in response to the virus scare: The China International Furniture Fair Guangzhou, Design Shanghai and the Malaysian International Furniture Fair.
MIFF was originally set for March 6-9 in Kuala Lumpur, just before EFE. It is now set for June 30-July 3.
